Itinerary

We will start our tour in the morning. First, we will visit Philadelphia; it is known as the birthplace of American democracy. We will be excited while standing inside the Independence Hall at the Independence National Historical Park. We will also sightsee the Liberty Bell, Congress Hall, the Statue of Washington and many other great attractions.  Then we will drive to Washington D.C.  Here main attractions are the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Smithsonian National Air, and Space Museum. We will also take photos with backdrops of the White House and the U.S. Capitol due to the visit limitation for the public.  After that, we will take our exclusive DC cruise and sightsee the beautiful view of the town along the Potomac River(Summer schedule). Along the way, we will also sightsee and pass by the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, WWII Memorial and more. Head to the hotel for night stay.

Note: In the winter when DC cruise is closed, we will visit the International Spy Museum.

The cruise is available for a ride over the Potomac River scrolling along the view of the city’s greatest monuments and noteworthy structures in a glimpse. The visitors can have fun and relax in the cruise ride.
It is an important legislative building in Philadelphia which is well-known for the being the birthplace for the United States Declaration of Independence and the adoption of United States Constitution. The Independence National Historical Park where it is situated is a world heritage site. Built from 1732- 1751, the Independence Hall has a red brick construction in a Georgian style.
This is a neo-classical construction over the Tidal Basin in the memory of Thomas Jefferson who played a key role in the Declaration of Independence and held many important positions in the Federal Government. He was the first US Secretary of State and the third president of America.
Located to the south of the Reflecting Pool on the National Mall, the Korean War Veterans Memorial symbolizes warriors who fought the Korean War. It is a triangular-shaped structure topped by a circle.
The Liberty Bell is an iconic representation of American Independence. The large bell is known for the Biblical reference of the verse “Proclaim LIBERTY Throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants Thereof”. Earlier known as the State house bell, it was used to call lawmakers to the legislative sessions to be held at the Independence National Historical Park.
This building was built in 1920 as a memorial to the 16th President of United States, Abraham Lincoln. He was the President of United States at the time of the American Civil War. The building is constructed in a Greek style with a large sculpture of Abraham Lincoln and inscriptions of his two famous speeches over it.
Established in 1946, the National Air and Space Museum (NASM) is part of the Smithsonian Institutional group under the Government of United States. Greeted by the Wright Brother’s first ever plane model at the entrance, the tourists enter into the world’s best ever collection of historical aircraft and spacecraft inside its premises. It is also a research center for the history and science of aviation and many other related fields of science.
Built on a total area of around 2-acres, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was constructed in the memory of soldiers of the US army who were part of the Vietnam War. The memorial is known to have some controversy over the building’s design at the time of its construction.
Designed by the Irish architect- James Hoban in white Aquia Creek Sandstone in neo-classical style, the White House is the official residence of the US President starting John Adams, the second US President in 1800. It is located at the Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C.

On the second day in the morning, we will start our day. First, we will head to Corning to visit the Museum of Glass in Corning. An expert glass craftsman will perform the amazing Hot Glass Show. After sightseeing the great collection, we will have our lunch. Next, we will head to Niagara Falls. Here we will witness the Bridal Veil Fall, the American Fall, and the Horseshoe Fall. After that, we will enjoy the famous Maid of the Mist ride to get very close to the Niagara Falls (Summer Schedule). After that, we will also enjoy watching a Niagara IMAX movie. Next, we will enjoy the Niagara In-depth Tour and witness the awesome beauty of the Niagara Whirlpool State Park and the Old Fort Niagara. At the end of the day, we will be stunned by the nighttime illumination when night falls. Head to the hotel for night stay.

Note: Visitors may stay in the Falls Park for self-exploration if they are not joining the In-Depth tour. Due to late sunset time and US Federal Government regulations, night view on some summer evenings may be limited or not available.When Maid of Mist close, we will take a Jetboat ride on the Niagara River.In bad weather conditions Jetboat tour will be closed.

This museum is a reservoir of over 45000 objects and is located to the west of New York State. It is primarily dedicated to highlighting the history of the art of glass-making with facts like the origins of the first ever glass mask made 3000 years ago. You will also be enlightened about the art and the science behind glass-making. Viewers are baited to watch the Hot Glass show conducted by the professional glass craftsmen.
Here, the tourists will witness 6 million cubic feet of water falling over the edge on the top line, right in front of their eyes. The Maid of the Mist ride helps you delve deeper into the falls to have a view like never before!
Niagara Falls is one of the most storied tourist attractions of the world. This is a waterfall with a total height of around 167 Feet, situated at the border of Canada and the United States. The Canadian part of the falls is also known as Horseshoe Falls, while it is divided into American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls towards the American side.
The Legends of Adventure movie is showcased in a 314 seat auditorium picturizing the myths and the mysteries centered on the river Niagara. The sound is delivered through Digital Dolby surround sound as well as the river Niagara itself playing background music for the show. This in-depth tour visits Niagara Whirlpool State Park and the Old Fort Niagara.
Niagara Whirlpool State Park is spread over a 109 acre area in Niagara county, New York. It is famous for the Niagara Whirlpool formed in the Niagara Gorge towards the downstream of the Niagara Falls. The depth of the whirlpool is 125 feet and it was formed around 4200 years ago. The Niagara Old Fort at the mouth of the Niagara River was built around 300 years ago to control the enemies entering into the great lakes and the continent during the colonial wars. It was established by the French rulers in 1679.
Niagara Falls holds the history of almost 75 years to have been mesmerizing the public with vibrant illumination both from the American side as well as the Canadian side of the river. The Old Fort Niagara is a 300 year’s old fort that holds supreme historical importance. The fort is known to have played a critical role during the war between France and India, the American Revolution and the War of 1812.

On the third day in the morning, we will start our exciting day. We will cross the upstate New York and head to Boston. On the way, we will enjoy the wonderful view of the Erie Canal and mountains on our comfortable tour bus. We will reach the city of Cambridge in the afternoon. Here first we will explore the Harvard University. In Harvard’s oldest campus we will take pictures with the Statue of Three Lies. Then we will get a chance to take pictures with the backdrop of MIT’s main buildings.  After that, we will pass by the old Trinity Cathedral, Boston Athenaeum,Swan Lake Park, Hancock Building, Boston Park, and overlook the Golden Dome of the State House. On the fourth day in the morning, we will start our fun filled tour. We will enjoy the breathtaking views on the Boston Harbor cruise. Then we will make a stop at the old Quincy Market. Here we will walk around to enjoy shopping and taste some authentic cuisines. We may also taste the famous New England clam chowder. In the afternoon, we will head to New York for night stay.

On the last day in the morning, we will begin our day. Today we will explore the New York city in detail and learn about the history, culture and the core spirit of the New York. First, we will visit the One World Observatory and enjoy the beautiful view of the central park and the entire of New York City. Then we will enjoy a cruise tour on the Hudson River. Next, we will take pictures with the backdrops of Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. We will sightsee the variety of aircraft in the USS Intrepid. We will also wander around the Wall Street and get a chance to take pictures with Trinity Church, New York Stock Exchange and its signature sculpture Charging Bull.We will also pass by the World Trade Center, Rockefeller Center, the Fifth Avenue and Ground Zero.When the tour ends, a shuttle will take the guests to Philadelphia drop off location or visitors may take the complimentary airport drop-off service to JFK/LGA/EWR.

Note: If time is available, we will additionally explore the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Madame Tussauds. Visitors must book the departure flight after 07:00 pm.

How much baggage is allowed to carry?

It depends on two things; if the tour is via 14 seat minibus then only one piece of baggage is allowed to carry otherwise it is recommended to carry two pieces of standard sized baggage per passenger. Always keep in mind that this is a tour bus ride, the less your baggage the more happy and lighter you will be.

Is restroom available on the bus?

The answer is yes. But it is recommended that you use the toilet only when there is a personal emergency. If you can wait then you should know that the bus stops along the way after every 2 to 3 hours. It helps the Bus crew to maintain a clean atmosphere on the bus. If there is personal emergency and you want to use it urgently then you can ask the staff to open it for you. 

What can we do if we choose not to go on the optional activities?

Definitely yes, if you wish not to participate in the tour activities you have option to hang around the tourist attractions as you like to. Some folks don’t want to go along with the tour activities which they had booked. It is allowed to go on your own but before you leave you have to inform the tour guide so he get notified and also he can inform you on the return time. It’s not wise to dispatch the group without informing the tour guide.

I am a vegetarian, what options I have on this tour?

It doesn’t matter you are vegetarian or not, because at meal break you will be presented with list of menus to choose from. You can enjoy various ethnic restaurants, street foods, and fast food restaurants along the way.  Plenty of vegetarian meals you can look for from the menu.

Is the drop-off location the same as boarding location?

Yes, you will be dropped-off at the same location where you started your journey. If there is change in location you will be notified through tour Special Notes page. Also you can ask your tour guided, most probably you will be notified.

Will the bus wait for me if I’m late?

The answer is sadly no. Tour buses will leave on time. It is wise to be punctual and arrive at the departure location half an hour before the depart time. This is a group tour where group needs are preferred over single individual. It is difficult for the bus to wait so please be understandable.

What is the payment method that Top Bus tours accept?

You can easily pay through Visa and MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Payments received are processed thru PayPal. The reason for that is to protect your transaction safety and provide you fast payment services. Cash is also acceptable with a 3% discount.

What happens if I don’t have PayPal account?

If you pay in cash you can also avail 3% discount and you should not be worried if you don’t have PayPal account. You can pay without it too; select the payment method when checking out for tour. You buying a ticket will start reservation process no matter what you technique for payment is later on. The cancellation charge will be considered once you create your reservation.
