Itinerary

We will begin our tour in the morning at Los Angeles and firstly visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library. You can even walk on board of the Air Force One aircraft, which is tail number of 27000 and it flew 7 US Presidents. See the Berlin Wall and Oval Office full size replica. Next we will proceed towards Solvang. It houses several restaurants, bakeries and merchant houses which are constructed in Danish architectural styles. We will stay overnight at the Bay Area.

Hotel: Crowne Plaza Union City or its equivalent.

On day 2, we head for Napa Valley. You can see wine manufacturing and also you can try out some of the wines. Thereafter we will travel to the Redwood National Forest. It is home to some of the tallest trees of the world like Hemlock, Spruce, Douglas-fir and Sword ferns. Few of these trees have life span of more than 2000 years grow above 300 feet. Following this, we will be going to the Carson Mansion, which is a remarkable and truly amazing display of American Queen Anne style of architecture and it is also one of the many photographed homes in United States.

Hotel: Red Lion Eureka or its equivalent.

We will be passing by the Crescent City, you will get to see the Battery Point Lighthouse which is situated on an island, you can reach there by walking only during a low tide. By noon, we will go to Medford, you can do duty free shopping there in the local malls. Following that we will be visiting the Crater Lake national park, it was formed due to the erosions of an ancient violent volcano- Mount Mazama some 7700 years ago. The lake length spans up to 6 miles and around 4 miles in width. It is also the deepest lake in the country with a depth of 1933 feet.

Hotel: Comfort Inn & Suite or its equivalent.

In the morning, we will see the Klamath Falls. Later we will travel to Mt. Shasta Vista Point and it is the best spot to view the White Mountain, it resembles Mt. Fuji. Thereafter you will be taken to the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay. It is a glass bridge built for cyclists and pedestrians. It is credited to be the largest sundial present in the world.

Hotel: Clarion Hotel Concord or its equivalent.
In the start of day 5, we will head to the Roaring Camp Railroads situated at Santa Cruz. There you can travel through redwood grooves over trestles up to the summit of the Bear Mountain aboard a 19th century locomotive that runs on steam. It is one of the best preserved of such things in US and which still gives service. We will return to Los Angeles by the night.
